They are also open to Americans who wish to spend their <strong>retirement<\/strong> years in France. Some VLS may be converted into a <strong>Titre de S\u00e9jour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. citizens, Canadians, and nationals of other countries that have reciprocal visa waiver agreements do\u00a0<em>not<\/em>\u00a0need a visa to visit France, provided their stay does not exceed<strong>\u00a090 days<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>during any given 180 day period<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>COVID-19 UPDATE:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>French regulations linked to the pandemic have severely curtailed both the issuance of Long Stay Visas and visa-free travel to France.
